  • 8:00 am – Noon both days Goals of This Course: This course seeks to convey a comprehensive foundation of knowledge about the AR-15 rifle such that the owner gains complete confidence in their ability to safely operate and maintain this firearm.  To gain this level of comfort the student will learn in a classroom setting a brief history of its development, its design and operating principles, ammunition design and types, basic ballistics and calibers, maintenance, and optics and accessories.
    The student will leave knowing how to zero their weapon, a firm foundation of basic marksmanship concepts and confidence to hit targets from the bench rest and standing positions.  A Rifle Shooting handbook is included in the course as well as a course completion certificate. Who Should Take This Class: Students not yet AR-15 owners, new AR-15 owners, or those who have never had a formal introduction to the AR-15 – or formal training in rifle marksmanship, will benefit from this course. This course consists of two four-hour sessions on consecutive weekend mornings.  It includes classroom and range time.  Students are asked to bring their own rifle and 50-100 rounds of ammunition.   • DEFENSIVE SHOOTING CLASS Drawing Firearm From Concealment (ADVANCED This Defensive Shooting Class is designed to build upon the skills learned in the basic class with the addition of a live fire component. Students will experience multiple repetitions in real life situations and work on recognizing a threat, accessing their firearm, accurate shot placement and appropriate follow through considerations. EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
    • Student’s preferred carry system
    • Student’s firearm and 100 rounds of ammo
    • Jacket/coat
    PREREQUISTE:
    • Valid CCW Permit
    • Completion of the Drawing Firearm From Concealment (BASIC) Class
    • Or prior approval from the Instructor

  • Good for 1 year, unlimited range time, access to member only specials, 6 guest passes per year and more!
  • Come try out precision pistol / bullseye!! New shooters are welcome!!  Need a challenge? Grab that .22 or centerfire pistol out of the safe and join a laid-back league to keep your skills up or improve them. Shooters can shoot rimfire, centerfire or both. This league there are no set days to shoot. Come in anytime we are open Tuesday through Friday, grab your 3 targets and shoot them. League will run for 12 scores and will start May 7 and end August 30. Cost will be $75 per gun. One handed shooting will be encouraged but you are more than welcome to shoot 2 handed, just in a separate class.  
    • You shoot 3 targets, 10 rounds a target for a total of 300 points 
    • You can shoot rimfire division and/or centerfire division and one hand or two handed class 
    • After 3 scores are turned in, classes you are in will be locked for the rest of season 
    • Shot at 75 feet on the NRA 25 yard slow fire target
