Proper Use of Pepper Spray

Completion of this class will give you, your spouse, your daughter or son, grandma…. whomever, the confidence and skills needed to handle a threatening encounter. As a bonus, students will get a discount on in-store SABRE Spray products.

Having options is always a good thing. Right? In self-defense, it is a MUST.

There are places where the possession of a concealed firearm is not allowed by law, and other places where you
cannot carry a firearm because the Owner of that location has decided not to allow it. In these non-permissible places, it’s good to have options for self-defense.

For those of us who carry a concealed firearm for self-protection and the protection of others, having a less-than-lethal “force multiplier” is an option which can make the difference between diffusing a threatening situation, escaping from a threating situation or having to choose a more lethal force if that is dictated.

For those of you who choose not to carry a gun for self-protection, it provides you a less-than-lethal defense tool to diffuse, escape or fight back in a threatening encounter.

Whomever you are, knowing the statutes in the state you live in, knowing the parameters under which you can and can’t use less-than-lethal force, and knowing how to properly deploy and use these tools is critical. Knowing what to do afterwards is just as critical!!

This class will be in the form of a PowerPoint presentation, lecture, and hands on training with inert spray products used for training purposes. YES, you will get a chance to actually spray a safe product to get the “feel” of how to use your real O.C. Spray.

Completion of this class will give you, your spouse, your daughter or son, grandma…. whomever, the confidence and skills needed to handle a threatening encounter. As a bonus, students will get a discount on in-store SABRE Spray products.

Immediate Treatment of Gunshot Wounds

Saturday, May 17th     10:00 am to 5:00 pm

This class will introduce the layman to the basic aid that needs to be rendered to a gunshot victim in the home, hunting cabin, street, hunting or on the shooting range. We will also present a detailed plan for rendering aid to victims in hazardous or high threat situations.

Have you ever thought of what may happen should you become involved in a negligent shooting at the range, while hunting at the cabin, or an unintentional discharge while cleaning your gun at home? WORSE, what if you are in the mall or big box store when the loser goes berserk and starts shooting the place up, and you, your loved one, or others are shot?

These are things we don’t want to think about, but based on recent events it’s a real possibility. Famed expert trainer in civilian defensive shooting and use of force, Massad Ayoob, says it best. “Know where the attack will come from and have a proven, practiced, defense in place”. In short, HAVE A PLAN, HAVE THE TOOLS, HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE! And TRAIN!

This class will introduce the layman to the basic aid that needs to be rendered to a gunshot victim in the home, hunting cabin, street, hunting or on the shooting range. We will also present a detailed plan for rendering aid to victims in
hazardous or high threat situations.

THIS IS NOT A GENERAL FIRST AID COURSE, and will be tailored to the specific traumatic injuries due to a gunshot wound sustained these locations. Although this is a medical class, everyday language will be used and the participant will have the ability to ask as many questions as desired.

Participants will watch a PowerPoint presentation with lecture and will have hands on training in the use of each item in an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) for both self- applied lifesaving measures and as a “buddy aid” or victim lifesaving measures. Discussion and questions will be encouraged.

You will be using our training equipment; you do not need to bring an IFAK. Modern-day IFAKS are not the first aid kits we all received when we were Boy Scouts, these are serious life-saving kits that are not meant to be deployed for boo-boo’s.

Although not sanctioned by any medical authority, it is designed for the civilian, layman and first responder as a
learning tool to broaden his/her knowledge base for rendering aid to others or him/her-self in dire circumstances.

Instructor: Bob Zenoni
Cost: $200
Class Size: 25
