Do you wonder if a private lesson is right for you?

Do I know enough (or do I know TOO much) to benefit from private instruction?

We have suggestions to ensure you are happy with your experience. The first thing you want to do is visit our Private Lessons page. Read Instructor Bios and give an instructor a call to discuss your expectations & concerns before you book your session. Lessons are individually tailored to your specific needs and goals. Feel free to reach out to our staff for help picking one. All of our instructors are in The Range frequently as well.

Sample Lessons

  • A new shooter may want instruction to make sure they are handling their firearm properly. Developing good habits and familiarity with your firearm is your foundation to build shooting skills that will last a lifetime.
  • An intermediate shooter could learn trigger control, target reading and self-correction. it’s all about good muscle memory plus technique.
  • Advanced shooters receive specific coaching in areas that interest them. Share your goal with an instructor to collaborate on a plan to meet that goal including homework to help when you are practicing alone.

All students learn in a relaxed and comfortable environment. We specialize in making you safe, confident and highly competent with your firearms. Lessons are taught by highly experienced NRA certified instructors.

The cost of a private lesson is $75 or $125 per couple for a 1.5 hour session. Group sessions are available.

Students need a firearm, ammunition, and ear & eye protection. Everything you need is available for sale or rent at The Range.

What NOT to Expect from a Private Lesson

A pompous jackass instructor. We don’t have any of those!
