6:00-7:30 pm
This is course intended for individuals who have never fired a handgun but are interested in learning. The event will be taught by experienced and certified instructors. This is NOT a complete firearms training class. Do not bring your firearm, guns are provided. This is not a class to go over your gun but an introduction to shooting and safety. Class is available to students 12 and older. Age 12-18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
Classroom portion includes:
- Firearm Safety
- Shooting Range Rules and Etiquette
- Basic Operation of a Semi-Automatic Handgun
- Marksmanship Fundamentals:
- Proper Grip
- Stance
- Sight Alignment and Sight Picture
- Trigger Control and Follow Through
- Master Eye Exercise

- Hands on Action and Operation of a Handgun
- Dry-Firing
- Live-Firing
